With the skyline of Hartford as the backdrop, two Hartford venues have made a list of the top outdoor music venues in CT, along with venues in Simsbury, Westport and Danbury.
Anyone who has been to an outdoor concert has felt it – music and environment harmoniously combining and surrounding you like fog to create a holistic experience. There is something about how blue skies and starry nights create a habitat for music to resonate, isn’t there?
The list, published by CBS Connecticut/WTIC includes Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre and Riverfront Recapture’s Mortensen Plaza (see below). Complete list here.
Add to that the great concerts coming up in Hartford’s parks such as Hartford Festival of Jazz (July 15-17) and Summer Solstice (June 16) at Bushnell Park, the concert series at Elizabeth Park and more and you can’t deny that the Capitol city is alive with the sound of music.
